IN-SPACe CANSAT
A 1 kg can-sized satellite built for launch to 1000 metres, for the ISRO-backed student competition.
The team competes in the IN-SPACe CANSAT India Student Competition, organised by the Astronautical Society of India and ISRO, designing and launching a can-sized satellite weighing 1 kg to an altitude of 1000 metres.
The work runs in four stages: design and component selection, with preliminary and final designs and budget planning; subsystem development and integration; testing through to flight readiness review; and the launch itself, followed by post-flight review.
